Male: limit daily calorie under 1600. Up to  1800 if highly active.

From the following examples, you can tell what food helps lose weight:
Food to eat more:   
  1. Vegetables: lettuce, asparagus, cauliflower,      
                   Spinach, carrots, Squash, Zucchini,         
                   Pepper, green beans, cucumber
  2. Skim milk, egg white (minimize egg yolk)
  3. Water or calorie-free beverage

Food to eat moderately:
 1. Lean meat from chicken, turkey, pork, fish such as
     Tuna, roasted meat
 2. 1%, 2% milk, fat free cream cheese, soy products        

Food to eat only sparely:
 1. Candy, ice cream, or any other sugar rich food
 2. Sweet fruits like grape, water melon and other melon,
     Banana, apple, pear, orange........
 3. Starch rich food: potato such as French fry, sweet potato,
    corn, tortilla
 4. Rice or rice products
 5. Flour products: bread, pita, pizza, pasta, noodle, cake, cookie
 6. Sugar contained juice or beverage
 7. Fat rich food: butter, cheese, margarine, fatty part of meat
    including grounded meat, spare ribs, Hamburger, sausage.
 8. Egg yolk (extremely high in cholesterol)
 9. Whole milk
